Dive Sites...

Anemone Reef

As the name suggests, Anemone Reef is a large pinnacle sloping down to over 25m on the seabed, covered in anemones.

The pinnacle acts as shelter for numerous Anemone fish, shrimps and crabs, present all year round.

Leopard Sharks are a regular sighting near the seabed and large numbers of tropical fish call this area home.

King Cruiser Wreck
One of the best known wreck sites in Thailand, the King Cruiser car ferry from Phuket sank in May 1997 after hitting a few rocky pinnacles at Anemone Reef. Limping for a further 1,000m, the ship slowly went down to settle in just over 30m of water.

Remaining in one piece, the King Cruiser is an excellent wreck to explore. The safest entry point at the ship's stern is where the old car decks were. This leads you into exploring staircases, machine rooms and other decks. A large variety of marine life has started to inhabit this artificial reef with groups of snappers, parrot fish and moray eels making their lairs under the old seats.

Shark Point
Made up of three pinnacles, this is coral heaven, both hard and soft, taking it's name from the resident Leopard Sharks which come here to rest.

This is also a great spot to see snappers, jacks and occasionally barracuda. If you're lucky, you'll experience a whale shark sighting!

Hin Daeng
'Red Rock' takes it's name from the red anemones that cover this huge pinnacle. Dropping almost 75m to the seabed, this is one of Thailand's true deep-dive sites. Known for it's shelves and drop-offs, this is home to numerous pelagic fish, schools of barracudas as well as grey reef sharks.

Hin Muang
Rated one of the best dive sites in the world, 'Purple Rock' is a favourite spot for manta rays and the always impressive whale shark. Deep drop-offs lead down to see nudibranches, pipefish and seahorses.
